Composites play an increasingly important role as a material of the future. This year's conference will bring you the latest in research and development findings, projects, and trends. The knowledge and insights you will pick up will be worth well more than the registration fee.

CRC-ACS is again partnering with Composites Australia for this event. Together, with Composites Australia, the Conference to advance the industry by promoting and encouraging greater uptake of the latest in fibre composites technology.

The Conference
Two days of technical, academic and practical presentations, workshops, tutorials and live demonstrations covering a range of topics to suit all interests, from innovations and engineering applications to fabrication issues.

"Diversity in Composites" - the theme itself covers diverse meanings which apply to composites.

There is a tremendous diversity in composite applications, and the range is still increasing. From planes and trains to bridges and buildings, composites play an increasingly important role as a material of the future. In addition, composites fabricators and manufacturers can apply their processes and skills to a diversity of products, allowing them to diversify; when one market is down, andother will be on the rise.

This year a reviewed stream of academic and research papers has been added to our Programme, which will also feature the popular Engineers Thursday and Fabricators Friday presentations.

The Dinner
The conference dinner - the industry event you won't want to miss - takes place on Thursday 15th March!

The Venue
The Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains hotel was recently acquired by the Accor Group and has been renovated and upgraded to meet the high Accor standard. Beautiful rooms and setting in the stunning Blue Mountains of New South Wales.

Located just 90 minutes from Sydney Airport by car or train, it is easily reachable and is surrounded by the Blue Mountains National Park.
